Listen up, folks! If you're thinking about using this company, just don't. I placed my order ages ago, well before Christmas, and all I've gotten since then are constant date changes and a bunch of lies. They had no issue taking my cash, but my order? Still MIA. Honestly, I suspect they're scammers. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone, and their messaging service is a total joke. So, if you're considering this company, do yourself a favor and steer clear. You won't get what you paid for. I’m done with them and I’ll be telling everyone I know to skip it too.

This is a great place to shop. The products are top-notch and definitely worth the price. It's a bit of a splurge. Plus, the staff are super friendly and attentive. Overall, a lovely experience.

A few weeks back, my husband and I visited the Harrogate store after spotting a console table on their website. The range was Mia Casa, and it was listed for £725, but it said out of stock online. To our surprise, when we got to the shop, there it was on the floor! We asked if we could buy it, and Brian, the owner, said yes. But then we were taken aback when he quoted us £1500 for the same reclaimed pine table, identical in size and color to what was advertised for £725 online.

Brian handed us his business card so we could think it over. My husband later called the shop and spoke to Brian’s wife, who offered the table for £1150. We didn’t follow up and just let it go, feeling like the price was just pulled out of thin air. A few days later, Brian’s wife called my husband to see if we wanted to buy the table. He said he’d get back to her. After checking the website again, we decided to head back to the Harrogate store.

When we walked in, I asked the shop assistant about the table's price, and she said £725, which made us think Brian must’ve messed up. We started to arrange delivery, and the assistant called Brian to confirm the sale for £725. But as soon as she gave him our details, he claimed the price was wrong and it was actually £1150. You could tell the assistant was uncomfortable and really sorry about the mix-up.

We left the store, but about an hour later, my husband returned and showed the assistant the price on the website from his phone. She called Brian, but his wife answered and said the website hadn’t been updated. This was still not right, as the assistant was ready to take our money and set up a delivery date.

Brian’s wife told my husband they paid £600 for the table, so they wanted £1150. It was clear that Brian was trying to pull a fast one, thinking we’d be foolish enough to pay £1150 for a pine table when it was clearly listed for £725 on the Luxe Company site.

To say the least, Brian and his wife have been very dishonest throughout this whole ordeal. We’re not the type to complain or write reviews, but we believe customers need to be warned about this. Harrogate is a well-off area, and it seems like Brian and his wife are trying to take advantage, especially since there was no price tag on the table. Just a heads up to potential buyers!
